Simplistic avoiding ANPR "fines"

Just a simplistic thought which I haven't read anywhere else but surely others must have thought of this .... Could one avoid the unenforceable penalties lavatory paper barrage by exiting the car park with the number plates covered so as not to trigger ANPR?
Obviously uncovering them when on the public highway as that would probably be an offence.
If I had overstayed, I would be tempted.
Maybe a false plate "FU 2"?

Wonder why? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If it wasn't so illegal I'd be sorely tempted to use the number plate of the owner of the parking company0 -
Even better, the one from another.?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

You could try reversing out of the car park so they get two photo's of you "entering".
p.s. You should consider the "pawb" bit of your user name to "PPCs".

Or use a bit of black insulating tape to temporarily change the number. F'rinstance a P easily becomes an R.Je suis Charlie.0

What is the use of hiding your number on exit? They will have recorded you as having entered but not left. Hence your 'fines' will be continually mounting as you haven't left the car park as far as they are concerned. Surely you want to hide your number on entry or am I missing something here?.0

If they never record you leaving their technology will never flag you up as an overstayer, it will simply be put down as a glitch (which I'm sure happens all the time).
Anyway, can you imagine them in a court trying to persuade the judge your car has been in the car park for 6 months (and has turned invisible in the interim 'cos they can't find it on the ground)?Je suis Charlie.0 -
