Ok, here's your challenge "should you choose to accept it" LOL. Max budget of £135K, lower the better. Minimum 3 beds and bathroom upstairs (if downstairs loo aswell bonus), offroad parking and/or garage, good back garden, GCH, house semi, detached on end terrace only, will be for cash buyer in Somerset/Gloucestershire/Devon and surrounding counties.
before anyone says Rightmove etc, yes I know but also looking for "hidden gems" under the radar that people may know about, repossessions etc.
Fingers crossed

The line was wasted on me, and I do sarcasm big time usually, so hopefully now we can stay on topic please?0

I would be gobsmacked if you had any chance whatsoever of getting everything you want for such a small budget0

as above, your "requirement' list is pretty ambitious given your budget.
If there are any of these 3 bed 'hidden gems' going at that price I'd be more than interested too!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
The downside of hidden gems is the 'hidden' bit.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

From a regular 3-bed @115K a year ago to a "hidden gem" @135K now, I am tempted to quote your own perception "Tell me I'm deluded please!"
I don't think the responses will be any different this time around, given that the house prices are on the rise.
It may have been possible around 2009-2010, but now .... ?
Good luck with your "treasure hunt".0 -
Wouldn't be too hidden once it was posted on here anyway.
Have you considered self build ?I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Ive got a property in one of your areas mentioned...heres how it compares
2 Beds but the potential for wonderful loft conversion
Upstairs bath room and a downstairs guest loo...
Parking on private road...and small manageable back garden
GCH... in fact its just had a £40 k renovation carried out to include new windows, electrics, etc etc
Sorry its not semi or even end terrace but 3 from the end
heres the sting though...its just been valued at £275000...
For the budget you have realistically that will buy you something that requires building...plots around those areas start at £100k.
at the moment ive got £100k it invest in something and to be honest its not extending much further than a 1 bed flat in those areas.particularly if you want to be in a good postcode too.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
This is a shame , i was hoping one day to relocate the family down to St Ives , 2 kids plus the dogs , and i was hoping to grab something along the front , or at least really near , for about £185k
Is this not likely then ?
Sad timesNever, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0
