    Grr, my laptop has mysteriously broken completely and I have lost all my spreadsheets :eek: I feel lost :( I am currently using DH's which uses windows 8 and has no spreadsheet software. Tried downloading some free software as recommended by MSE and I couldn't get it to work :( so glad we pay monthly insurance for the laptops so it shouldn't cost anything to repair it. So frustrating :(

    Hi Sammr, hope you managed to get your laptop back up and running, I would be totally lost without my spreadsheets too! You've made me think that I should back mine up so I could recover them if anything happened.
