I have nto mentioned to anyone that it is on finance, How can I hand it back? I bought it from car giant...and finace through another company that work with car giant.

If you have paid half of it off, you should be able to hand it back to the finance company.

really? do auto's sell for less?

In this case I would say so, small autos tend to attract a smaller market (especially something sporty)

its alot of money, for that price i could pick up a z4 2005/6 with similar, maybe abit higher, mileage.

is the car on finance, or did you just take out, unsecured, finance for the purchase?

anyone doing a hpi check would see this anyway

Err, no you can't unless it's been in a smash or massive miles and it's missing two seats, hardly a useful comparison.

Thanks I will find out - we have paid just over half back.

Just phone up the finance company and ask for the settlement figure for a voluntary termination. If you have paid over half already then it should be nil.

Maybe when the country was snowed in, but during a heatwave it doesn't happen. Otherwise you should've bought them all and made £2k profit on each of them.

Problem is the OP isn't trying to sell alot of cars, they have one. Peoples tastes differ, some like the 307cc and some don't.

To be honest, you are asking a dealer price for your car.

The dealer price includes a decent profit margin and people pay that premium to buy from a dealer.

As said yours is an auto, which is a lot rarer than a manual. This is ok if someone is looking for an auto, but limits your market.

Simple fact is your car is worth sub £3500 as a private sale. Which is why you have not sold it in months.
