    Hi,

We signed our contracts for both buying & selling about 4 weeks into the process, the completion date was left blank to be filled in by the solisitor at the point of exchange. We exchanged 2 weeks ago & that was 2.5 months after we had signed the contracts. We were on holiday & we got a phone call from our solisitor saying everyone was ready to exchange & all other parties had agreed on 26th July did we?

We just accepted it as didn't want to mess around. Best of luck.
