Each thread advises not to pay.

UKCPS is mentioned time and time again - just search.

Yes, ultimately if you do nothing or the wrong thing, you could end up in court.

What do you do? Read a few threads and then come back with some specific points you need clarification on.

But if you want us to put a bit of effort in to helping you, put a bit in yourself first.

Pointless doing a soft appeal to UKCPS as you won't get a POPLA code. And you can't email them either despite what the fake PCN might say!

Correct. PPCs argue that you have a contractual - not legal - obligation to pay their invoices.

They may have either a camera on the premises or parking attendants on duty who may have observed you doing this. Regardless, this is but one of many challenges facing PPCs in making people pay them.

They can make all kinds of terms for parking in their land but the fact remains that unless you knowingly entered a contract with them then they have no grounds for enforcing them on you.

Precisely. You should also consult the BPA's regulations about signage to see if the company's signs violate any of them. In many cases they do.
