Work has been messing me around so have been feeling quite sorry for myself (and eating at least 6 packs of crisps every night to console myself which has meant that 5:2 has become 7 days of 3000 calories and 0 days of anything less!). In 2 minds as to whether I hand my notice in or man up and be treated like a pile of steaming !!!!!!!

Aww mimi BigHug.gif I think a good few of us, me included :o, have fallen off the diet wagon. I daren't step on the scales at the moment. You'll get back on it.

Is it your new job that you're having problems with? Hopefully settle down soon.

    Evening all

Ok, hands up who has been applying for the 'chefs pledge' coupons without thinking about the competition?

Mum just checked her emails and found out she has won the Indian meal.
She is not jumping up and down in excitement as is the one thing my step dad will not have in the house as he dislikes the smell.
Ok I won on mums behalf but I do not have a dinning table let alone the space or crockery for 8 people.

Hoping they will allow mum to hold it at step sisters house.
Any other meal and mum would have been happy to hold at home as has enough space.

Still any win is welcome and certainly the biggest win this year.:T

    Off to catch up.
    V x

Another elite winner, well done vt :T I don't see why they wouldn't let it be held somewhere else. You could always have it at my house :D
Could I please ask anyone who hasn't voted for Max to please take a moment and do so. The competition finishes tomorrow, he's in the lead at the mo but there's a doggy getting very close to biting him on the bum.:rotfl:

Thank you all very much x

Apologies for bumping my own post. :o I promise it's the last time I do it. Max is in second place now, I know it's not done solely on votes but it wouldn't hurt to try and get a few more.
Please vote if you haven't yet, I would be eternally grateful.
    Thank you x

Hi:):) - I thought I'd stumbled on an old thread (I did do that this morning) but I'm sure you mean 2013 - good for the larger bottles too. I can confirm, having done a Morries check, that the best per 100ml I've found are the California Rose (75cl) on Tvs A, Svs A or Avs W (not Northern Ireland), and the Vie Rose 75cl Svs A or Avs T or Waities. (Notice though I'm still not sticking my neck out on them comparing from A £4.00 to N/A versus Morries!!:D)

HAHA yes I did mean 2013, edited post :)
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

Doggies are just as lovely. May the best pet win!

Yeh I love doggies and puddies .... but in this case it needs to be the cat's whiskas as Max's mum desperately wants to win the ipad :)

From M tonight, of course the loads of individual Mullers are on 34p each. Also the J2O 4x275ml, as you know, £2.14 in M (they have Orange & Passionfruit, Apple & Mango, Apple & Raspberry and Pear Gold).

The Hellmann's Mayonnaise (430ml) are still on £1 in M!

Discos Assorted 6 and Skips 6 are now each 94p in M. Perhaps some scope for m'buys to glitch, or a GC on the Skips as A's price appears to have just increased.

Baked Stars and Hoops & Crosses 6 back at £1 in M.

McV Jamaica and Golden Syrup Cake I've told you about - no TCB on the Golden Syrup version.

Also, Mr Kipling's 2x85g puddings are £1 in M. I haven't seen a £1 price for them in M before. For what it's worth the Simpsons puddings are also £1 in M, so you can have another go at my !!!!!!. Ritz Original and Cheese crackers (200g) 69p in M (although Sains was cheaper on one of the versions).

Kellogg's Rice Krispies, Frosties and Coco Pops cereals bars £1 in A & M, so Avs M rather than PP'ing or BM'ing from anywhere else.

    Dolmio 750gs £1.30 in M once again.

Bernard Matthews Dinosaur Turkey Roll is 50p again in M, but it didn't compare last time:(.

Some JF shampoo and conditioners are £3.00 in M (but not sure yet whether anywhere else is better).

On the downside, the Rustler's are back up to £2.00 in M. Sharp intake of breath on the Savers Cheese & Onion Pasty - up from 30p to 36p. Bird's Eye Rice Fushions are off as well, as are the Sharwood's frozen ready meals. It's onto some Bird's Eye frozen ready meals now instead - 400g for £1 in M!

Cathedral Citys 350g (this time it's the Vintage, the Mature and the Lighter but NOT the mild) are at £2.14.

In case you don't want Muller yoghurts, the Ski yogurts 4 pack are 85p in M, which is a less-usual lower price. I've decided, after weeks of it being there, that I'm removing the Savers Mild White Sliced Cheddar at £1.47 from the M list as it's too expensive! It's £6.13/100g! My usual guide is to look for £5-odd/100g and below - and of course Cathedral City Cheddar, with glitches, works out way better.

The Dr Oetker pizzas are off (now £2.78 or any 2 for £4), as are the Goodfellas on the list but some other Goodfellas are now £1.37. Wall's Mini Twister Lollies up to £2. Oral B Pro White or Trizone 4 Refills are £10 in M. Just to catch you out, M's version of the Microporous Tape is now up to 59p. Peter Rabbit Organics Apple & Grape Juice Drink though is now any 2 for £1:( (matching T to 61p last week was not a good idea).

I mentioned the Right Guard Total Defence a few days ago, when someone had them as Tvs A at £1.50. These Right Guards weren't on offer in M then. However - they now are! They're £1.44 in M (versions to follow in due course).

There's some SMA Follow On Milk at 59p until 1/9.

Some word about the Morrisons Tumbler, and the Morrisons Plate that appeared last week at 75p on my list. Sadly, if you bought it, it is now down to 56p. So too are the Sundae Spoons. M's Boot Jack is now 38p. So I was wrong to think they had hit a low price - it's about looking here to see if you think they will go any lower. Of course if these items ever appear in M again at 75p (price reduction from £1) they'll be little chance of them reappearing on the list:D. M also have a Salad Bowl now at 75p and some Terracota 3/4 saucers (5) at 18p whilst stocks last. They also seem to be having some offers on some stationery (but then so are other places at the moment, and some of these items are appearing on msm).

I suggest if you're after stationery, perhaps go to M and see what's there for yourself and whatever prices you think are reasonable. I can't cover these areas comprehensively - as there's already enough to cover with the APG/T PP comparable items! But, for example, and I've no real idea whether or not these are good value - as I concentrate more on grocery instead - M have their own stapler with staples at £1, a pack of 1000 staples at 25p and, if you can't work out all these prices and what they amount to, the M Pocket Calculator is 75p!

There's quite a number of items going up in price, not all of which have been mentioned here, lots of offers as well, I may be here slightly earlier than I normally am, but no further details at the moment I'm afraid - I've still go to sort things out here at home and rest of RL.

So - I may not be back tonight! Oh, before I go for now, I've decided that, given that T have, for some time, been effectively increased in price (the last time I saw) on their own brand packs of sweets, M is still 3 for £2 although some of its weights are lower, but these items may now be best to go vs M. (Or buy in T hoping to match M's multibuy offer if the M packs aren't lower in weight than 10% less than T's weight, with T we hope matching M's multibuy price but not adjusting for weight and the size of the products in T being slightly larger.) I've got a comprehensive list of sweets packs therefore!

This week's little bit of frustration: those new Right Guards being on offer, along with the Sures. Just a tiny bit too much at that time!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
