Well its all going wrong again here. Mum been in hospital for 4 weeks with a broken wrist and not seeing specialist about having plaster removed until 16.8. However they brought her home for a visit last week to see if she could come home and decided she could come home today. I was a bit dubious but my sister from abroad is home till 9.8 and despite my misgivings said she could cope. She also went on and on that it was Mums bday yesterday and it would be nice for her to be at home. So while I was away last week arrangements were made and even though I was dubious and spoke to the OT and ward sister she came home yesterday. However the care she has at home was not put in place till this evening due to hospital not telling social worker about change of date.
Anyway I went there yesterday morning to get a few things ready and had a complete meltdown. I actually called my oldest brother ( who i dont get on with at all) to ask for his help and support and he agreed that she needs to still be in care or hospital at least till the plaster is off ( ot suggested if she could not cope they would do this ). He was a bit off with me to start but I was in such a state crying he backed off and we had a good chat about Mum and he is with me that she either now needs live in help at night ( not me) or needs to go into care.
So I called the social worker who was quite annoyed they sent her home early without letting her know and when I explained she was not really fit to be there she said it happens all the time. I said I would see how she is today and call her to see if she can come by.
She is at risk and I cant be there all the time as I have other things to deal with at home. Am i being mean not letting her be at home?0 -

Doesnt the 9 pack SvT give a better return?
Hi there everyone - I'm in a little early as I've done an 'emergency' shop for loo roll. Last time I was running out of gravy, so bought some Oxos. This is very timely once again, as we were running low on the toilet tissue - :rotfl:I rushed out as didn't want S to suddenly slash their prices to 75p or £1.00 more expensive than T.
This looks excellent. In fact, without disrespect to everyone else who's posted in the interim, it's probably the most useful post of the last 24 hours. I see my posts around it, some of which more waffle than use, have gained more thanks - go back and thank sliver for this!:T:T.
I had the bright idea of putting 2x Kipling French Fancies (£1.89 each) and 1 Cherrytree Chorley Cakes pack on my shopping as my 'one cheapest free'. French Fancies £1 each and Cherrytree of course N/A in T. Remembering how the T bogof on the Tracker bars was picked up as one at full price and the other at £0.00? BM seems to have apportioned the prices though. It looks like it's given a 99p refund on the two French Fancies, rather than 2x 89p - but I did end up with a pack of Chorley Cakes on that 79p loss, so it was worth a go for the small loss made. Just so you don't repeat my mistake!:D (Of course it could be that another item has returned N/A, but it looks like the cakes didn't work.)
As for the loo roll, I don't really go for branded toilet rolls (as I mentioned last night). In the event that it might turn out I don't really like the Andrex, my own challenge, I'm sure, will be whether I can write just 15 words:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:!
See you tonight, late after the Morries checking!:) Might there be some Mullers on half price in Ms I wonder...???.0 -

Hugs, rose. NO, you are not being mean. You are just being realistic.0
