Good morning everyone. I hope everybody is well and has a happy day shopping. I wanted to go to A's today but I don't think I will, as my face is still very swollen from my wisdom tooth extraction. I am not in pain, but that could be due to the pain killers working. Slept ok, but was up at 3.30 am

Welcome back to the ELITE trout and tooth extraction thread.:)

I'm going to do an AvM shop tomorrow i think. PG tips 240 (did i tell you I'm collecting the codes for the cuppa club anyone..;):D, some Dr O's and some mullers. I finished the last one last night..

I wouldn't go for the PG Tips! This was a 'flash offer' in M that only last for a week - I've had it as expiring on 4th August. Although I won't 'formally':rotfl: find out until tomorrow, I think it highly likely M's price has gone back up and indeed I've seen it posted on here earlier today that M is now £4.00.

Any cooks or butchers among you?- My OH is a decent cook and has got problems getting his decent knives sharpened. He has a steel alright but doesn't get on well with it. Any ideas??? TIA

I use a whetstone once every week or two and a diamond steel just as a quick once over before use. They weren't cheap though :). The stones come in different grades of grit with typically a rough side if you need an edge and a smoother one for finishing. This might be worth a read, but like everything you can obsess and get into a lot of detail (glitching ?)

    Thanks,
must have been that bright start i was watching, i thought it was moving. i would say it was a lot brighter than the others more noticeable. would that be the one? omg what am i like lol x

I remember watching out for it in 1995/1996 - I think it might have been called MIR then? - IIRC it moves really quite quickly across the sky, it was quite unmistakable

I'm wondering if I need to go to Ms tomorrow - are all of M's prices now available on the M app from those with i-Phones?

However...why break the habit of the last 18 months:rotfl::rotfl:???
