To be fair T have peed me off a few times, not to dead deer revenge but I there have certainly been times I've wanted to cut the plugs off all their tills.:p
I know they can be quite annoying but I have yet to reach the level of anger required to risk treason by killing one of the Queen's deer and dragging the carcass into T's to make a point :eek:0 -

Just a quickie as I'm on my phone and not going to get chance to catch up properly today- I've just been to coop and they have the 2 packs of strawberries for £2
The pack says 2 x 400g but I'm not sure if that's 2 x 200g to make 400 or 2 x 400. Either way, 2 packs of strawberries for £2 is still a good buy
I think it's more likely to be 2x200g.
I know it's more expensive than your whoopsied strawberries, but I noticed Iceland (Savvy's been to Iceland folks:D) have a 400g + 50% extra 'free' pack for £2. Of course I would only get that when it's a 600g pack for £2 (as it is) and not 400g (with no extra free) for £2.
They also have Kingsmill Rolls 6 pack at 2 for £1.00 - beats my previous BM vs rip-off T price at 2 for £1.50. Although - still more expensive of course than whoopsied bread and SP Rolls may be cheaper too! Will probably last me about the same amount of time as an 800g loaf of bread (so, at 2 at 50p each, I've paid twice as much as I should have done:o - but, hey, I can afford the odd one!:D).
I learn by making errors.:)0 -

After the recent expensive £1 sun-creams, I'm begging to differ again to this week's MSE email. Cushelle 24:eek: (why the need to overbuy that many?) at £7.49:eek::eek: in Lidl.
Works out at 32p a roll they say. But are these 180 sheets per roll? Still sticking with the S.price ones (or, rather, moving to the Basics ones now A have changed their size to no longer comparable) - at 400 sheets per roll (may be 32.7p per roll, but at 'double size' rolls (or at least double sheet, it's effectively the same as 16.35p per 200sheet roll, so it seems far cheaper than the 32p a roll Cushelle ones - unless they're double size in Lidl??).
I've never seen the need for branded loo roll - it's not as if you have to taste it or anything and the 'value-range' ones work fine for me. I have no problem with softness or non-softness - they don't rip more easier than any others as far as I can see and therefore I'm not wasting more of them than if I used the expensive branded ones.
I might give the Andrex Eco ones a whirl though, with the 'try and see if I like them' offer. But just a little bit doubtful over its T&Cs - requiring the original receipt and says any tampering with the receipt will render it void - does writing "APG" on the receipt amount to tampering with it? Might try them, with the 50p off, on Avs Waities....0
