Ill have a hunt, see if I can find the sharpener I got, A steel is good, but I find I do need to use a sharpener now and again to get the angles right.

Patty, this is the one, but you can get ones the same design, a lot cheaper, have a look in TK-max, they quite often stock them.

    Morning all.

Wow, that sounds like a fantastic holiday Silvercar. I'd love to do something like that one day. Was it an organised trip or diy?

DIY. I would say very MSE, but we bust the budget.

Flights from Avios, with Amex 2-4-1 voucher.

Researched car hire, and all hotels for best deal. Vegas show tickets through the discount ticket booth. Heavily relied on tripadvisor for what to do and what not to do.

Compared tripadvisor reports on all the companies doing helicopter rides inside the grand canyon, turns out they all use the same helicopter and plane firms etc

Or if he has time to waste Patty, you could always just get a sharpening stone and a set of these guide, that you pop on the knife, and it gives you the right angle.

(much more MSE , but mine are still in the packet as the sharpener is much easier :) )
