My sisters boyfriend picked up a couple of 2 for 1 Thorpe park/chessington etc thingies yesterday. How does one use them? It seems the online price is cheaper so just buy one ticket, pick it up at the ticket office then get another free?

Has anyone else got these receipts/vouchers?

They were spitting these out in B0urnem0th at the weekend. I think that they are for 'at the gate' price only. Sorry, I can't help more as I gave all mine :o to my DD.

Was just browsing tesco.com and noticed this. At first look it doesn't look odd. But tesco never rarely ever have the goodfellas thin and deep pans on offer at the same time. They switch between the two. 3 weeks half price on the thin ones. Next three weeks its the deep pan etc.. Same with Sainsburys. However Asda are different, they usually have both.

Which means IMO that the £1.60 thin ones which are 2 for £3 looks an odd deal (and a tiny saving...) However I won't be moaning as I have a clubcard voucher for 60p off. And I'm 99% certain these were not on any offer as I checked the other day and they were full price at £2.89 ish.

I don't know what I am getting at really lol. Maybe one to watch ;) as I think the offer is wrong and will get corrected. Worth a look instore to see what the SEL said and what it scans at.

I've been looking at phones and that one caught my eye. I've got an old phone on orange -do they check the sim as I can't remember when I used it last or if it's still working?
Last time (many years ago) we went in carphonewarehouse they put the sim in and got us a phone number etc. Did they do this for you? Do they just take your old phone minus the sim?

Presumably it will stay unlocked even if they put the old orange sim card in?

Decided that if I can get this for £59.99 and get onto Ovivo with it it's a bit of a no brainer for us. However looked at some postings saying that they have had problems with the Huawei Ascend Y 500 on Ovivo as Ovivo thought it was a Blackberry initially.

Anyone got one on Ovivo. Also is it easy to use - will a novice like me be able to easily load apps etc. (Want those cashbacks!) OR would anyone suggest an easier phone to use?

Decisions, decisions - wish I had a youngster that could help me.

I did my homework first and decided that this huawei was a good one and deliberately bought it from carphone warehouse as their phones are always unlocked as are phones for u. There is a certain criteria to fit before you are accepted for an upgrade mainly that you use the sim frequently .

The phones remain unlocked whatever sim you put in. They check online with your sim number which you need to tell them or there might be a way on the phone itself. Or you could phone yourself on another phone and your number will come up that way.

You can put any companies sim in them. If you aren t accepted for an upgrade its not the end of the world really as its only £10 more and £10 for your calls. Hth

Well, I decided to examine the area today. And I found a brown jelly like substance in the gap where tooth was. So I decided to start pulling it out with a tweezer. I couldn't decide what it was. Was it something that was left behind by the dentist? If that were the case, why would it be jelly like? So I ring the dentists. The receptionist fobbed me off and said just leave it be if no pain. Etc. etc.

So I do yet more internet research (every time I spend time researching this problem, I end up worried sick, more than before)! lol.

After about half an hour, I finally see that the brown jelly like substance is the blood clot.. and I must LEAVE IT ALONE! Thank god I didn't take it all out, just a bit.

So no pain at the moment. Just swollen still. All going ok so far. I have decided to stop researching on the internet, as its sending me potty. Stan is hiding in the shed as we speak, and I don't blame him.

Thank you to all of you who have wished me well today. I've had a good day reading on here. But i'm also getting withdrawal symptoms. Need to go for a womble! Will see how things are tomorrow. x

You really do need to leave this alone YQ it's so easy to get an infection in it and then you d know about it. I got this dry socket a year or so ago and I wasn t even fiddling with it. I d never even heard of it but my word I certainly heard about it when I was suffering.

Just been to my local tesco for more rustlers and blossom hill mins only to be told that they no longer take any coupons other than their own. Is this just my store being awkward or is it a general "latest" policy?
Just wondering if its worth me going to a larger store in another town tonight before the offers finish tonight, or is it worth me ringing customer services to complain?
Thanks in advance for any advice

I have two extras that I use regularly and last weekend they were both much fussier than usual, talking to the supervisor they have been getting lots of 'Doctored' coupons recently and are losing thousands (Apparently someone is altering the barcodes and making them scan for much more than intended):mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
