My sisters boyfriend picked up a couple of 2 for 1 Thorpe park/chessington etc thingies yesterday. How does one use them? It seems the online price is cheaper so just buy one ticket, pick it up at the ticket office then get another free?

Has anyone else got these receipts/vouchers?

As usual with this type of promotion, you will get a second ticket free only when you pay the full adult gate price on the other ticket.

I suspect for most venues that the gate price has been ramped up to take into account the extensive promotions that they run, as I imagine few people will just turn up to a theme park and pay full gate price? It is like double glazing (generally 50% off sale!) and some of the grocery items (e.g. Mullers) that are generally on offer somewhere.

    Everyone's gone quiet
Had an e-mail from MSL, apparently the message they sent me on the 25th was asking me for copies of all my receipts from my shops between the 20th and 31st.
I told them the only way I could have sent them the one from the 31st on the 25th would be if I had a time machine :D

I've just spent the last hour re- emailing copies of my receipts for cash back claims. Apparently because I have done multiple shops the system has asked for them to be verified. :eek:Which is done manually.
So DON'T THROW YOUR RECEIPTS AWAY!!!:)

Lots of people seem in need of hugs and support today so here's my contribution. (((((:A)))))x

Oxo reduced salt (12s) were scanning at £1.20 in my ex-Netto today (someone reported them actually scanning at 12p last night).

Go and look at post # 3890

May help those who don't know what I am talking about ;):D

I was thinking of getting one of these as only have bog-standard Freeview TV and a Recorder.
    Is it any good?

I understand you can get BBC IPlayer etc, and can pay extra (no thanks -for Sky sports and Films) but it looks like to register it you have to sign up to skysports for a day or 30 day free film trial ?

I like you got freeview tv and recording box so thought it would come in useful. I signed up http://www.nowtv.com/ but have not paid anything apart from box. Just tell them you will sign up later for paid stuff ;)
