I don't know if I mentioned that I had a bad fall in the hallway after I got back home from my enforced 8 weeks stay up North a couple of months ago, when I fell heavily against a stool and badly bruised my left boob, but the tissue under the bruise hardened as could be expected and I have now been left with a small pea-sized lump in my left breast so I am off to see a nurse practitioner this afternoon to get that checked. I can't pretend that I am not worried about it :( I will report back later

    Hugs to you, 3Dogs hugsmile1.gif
It's best to get it checked out. My Grandma had exactly the same thing happen about 10 years ago. She had a fall, badly bruised her boob and was left with a lump for months after the bruising subsided. She saw the Consultant and had a scan but it was just as a result of the fall and went eventually.
One thing to be mindful of.... the surgery will not want to second guess that the fall caused the lump so they'll almost certainly refer you to the Breast Clinic at the hospital. Government target is that ALL breast lumps should be seen within 2 weeks so don't let it worry you any more than already if they do you an urgent referral.

Hugs also to SavvySal and Yogurt Queen hugsmile1.gif

Thanks just won too. It's my second time, so have put my parents address in case they won't post to the same address twice.
