    EDIT 60p:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Nope. I said good for apg shop AvT

    £6 less 10% is £5.40
    less 3x£1.40 (£4.20) = £1.20 for 3 pizzas

    or 40p each :p

    Doh - does this mean that we may still be able to buy Dr O v £1.25 at M then?

    I have run out of space in my freezer - so could only squeeze 4 in on Sat night. Convinced myself offer ended Sunday 4th Aug but forgot about the tardy lag with A v M price list thing. HTHS

    No use for me - was going to get more for my student niece and drop off in York but OH now has my car as his exhaust gone and garage not got a slot til Friday so he's using mine to get to work. (tut the one week when the kids have no activities and I was looking forward to days out and finishing holiday and school shopping).

    Rain will mean baking - cancel the fast day and reschedule to tomorrow then - my will power not that good! :p

    Its certainly possible. Stella compared at £10 for a while after it stopped being £10 in M ;)

    Hello, I have only just joined this sight to ask a question. Sorry if this is not in the correct forum, but need help today.
    Here is my problem. We are having a fancy dress dinner party this Saturday and my husband is to wear a specific suit for his character. I have found one in a charity shop (not his size, but will do) but they are asking £15 for it. We are tight on money and this dinner is costing a small fortune, so would it be too cheeky to ask for a discount as we only need it for the weekend and I would be bringing the suit back on Monday (as it's awful and not his size)?

    you dont say what character he is to portray. if its donald duck i have a spare suit in the wardrobe :)

    Welcome :wave:

    You don't ask, you don't get. Give it a go, nothing to lose

    (Sorry. Just read you want a discount AND you want to return it? Why not just one or the other?)

    LOL, No he is meant to be the most powerful yet dumbest producer in 1946 Hollywood. It specifically said to wear a loud houndstooth suit.

    Well, I just don't really want to spend that much on a suit that we don't need. We would take it back to the same charity shop along with some kids bits that I need to get rid of because the suit is awful and it's not even his size. I just need it for the night and it's not something that we would keep.

    They can only say "NO". :D

    Or yes, or that they dont know. Infact, they could even say 'giraffe' but it would not make any sense.
