    Thanks for the heads up though, I thought that might happen at some point :(

    Sorry you didn't manage to find them:(. It seems no-one's managed to buy them at 12p in A??:(:(

    There were plenty of them in my Sains again this afternoon!!:):T Wasn't too happy initially when I took the first one towards the front of the shelf and found expiry date of Sept 13. Reached to the back, though, and found plenty of Mar 15 ones!

    (Just been to check and they are transferring into my basket on a.com at 12p each. :(I was rather hoping they were actually out of stock in A after that!)

    Although - in Sains, not much point having to spend around an extra £10 in order to get the £20 spend and then not able to get much, if anything, that's cheaper in A due to the £10 cap:(. Nonetheless, I did a second shop - replaced my £9.96 BM with a £9.99 one!:rotfl::rotfl::) I now have a lot of things in my fridge that I managed to find (own-brand) Sains. cheapest on:T. I will go and order it all soon, and make sure it's all used within its use-bys! I could have done with these chilled things anyway - and thanks to this, I now have them!:) Even found some bacon instore that was cheaper than the ones on msm:(. (Frowning as would have been much easier to do my calculations if the 82p 300g bacon had been on msm.)

    That, also, created a problem on my shop - problem is I am buying too well! I was then having to find more items (and very good value, cheaper ones at that) as I'm not spending enough!:D Not easy using cheap fillers to top the limit - but, after using some of my usuals, I got it! (Also had to avoid some items I'd already got enough due to my earlier shop today.) In the event, I went for 7x Oxo Reduced Salt Chicken, with a cereal spend (from a cereal spender perhaps:( - oh well, spender that spends a lot getting the extra points, then gets most of the spend back on a voucher:D:D). I will be looking forward to reading the results on the two shops tomorrow, even if it's merely academic interest!:rotfl::rotfl:

    Go on Sains - match those brands!:D:rotfl:Compared to the price showing on a.com at any rate on my two shops!:) My 9 packs of cubes should now see us in good stead for their dates. Just hoping A don't reduce the price to two pence now:rotfl:.

    Many thanks Tweets for your post last night (which I missed at the time:o) and thanks trulymadly for reposting this a.m. - I don't think it would have been picked up on as much without you reposting!:):):T

    I'm glad somebody's been able to get them anyway. Can't believe how elusive these bleeding cubes are. I was thinking about doing a click and collect to see what they'd replace them with but I'm pretty positive the Sada I get my shopping from are glued to this thread. When the champers was £6 a bottle last year they just said they weren't available so I hadn't been charged and the same happened with the Cadbury creation choccy too. I did still reap the benefit of that though as I put in for my APG after 3 hours instead of waiting the 48hrs for online shoppers :rotfl:

    I also kept one of their leaflets that says they are supposed to substitute when requested so I can phone the duty manager when they try and wriggle out of it again.

    I went off to google the fissler stuff and the same pot that's in Tosco is selling in Harrods for £215 :eek:
    Many a mickle makes a muckle.

    That reminds me of my story from Aldi a few days ago. Clearly a 'discounter' now with the apples at £1.49:(:rotfl::rotfl::eek:.

    Person in front of me at the till had a very long line of items on the conveyor. That got me thinking (not hard to cause me to do!:rotfl::D) - how much would his bill come to? He'd obviously done like I suspect the vast majority of people still do - waited till they ran out of stuff at home then bought everything they would buy. (Rather than buying specific items at certain times - and switch and switch and switch around, off one brand, to the next, onto a new size, different brand, then back again - in accordance with how the rivals are pricing their items:rotfl::D.)

    I sort of looked (but not stared!:D) at his items, and thought how much I would have paid on buying much the same or equivalents to many of them (as I have done over the last months). (You know how Aldi advertises their own brands as cheaper than supermarkets' branded equivalents too?) (Or "Lidl is cheaper" - shows you own brand alternative to Ribena at £1.00 and a £1.99 price on Ribena for major supermarkets. Wrong! It always makes me think. No it's not. Ribena is 2p in a major supermarket with a m'buy glitch back and MOCs having been used etc.:D, and therefore works out cheaper than Lidl's own 99p brand. Okay - that's lucky and at its best - but still won't be buying Ribena at RRP of £1.99 when in fact very often priced at £1 on offer somewhere!)

    Anyway - I roughly totted up what prices I would have been paying (or rather getting those items for after APGs etc.) and I thought... maybe £15 on the whole shop he'd done (equivalent items, branded or not branded too). Then I thought, maybe no, perhaps I'm being too generous to me, perhaps £20.

    Now..how much did I imagine his bill would come to, I thought? I thought probably £35 (in other words £15 more than my upper amount, erring on the side of caution in pretending me to have spent perhaps somewhat more than I thought).

    How much did his bill come to???....

    ...Over fifty five pounds! :eek::eek::eek::eek:

    Just left me - probably visibly - jaw-dropped! (You might even, if you were there and listening out, have heard an audible sound of shock from me.)

    How much???!!:eek::eek:

    Crikey!!! Good gawd!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Just unbelievable and incredibly bad overpaid shopping from the public! No wonder these are tight times and people have no money left. (When they're handing it out, seemingly like confetti, and just expecting that that's how much things cost.)

    Just only pleased we know different!!:):):D:D Cheers and many many thanks for telling me about, and reposting on, the Oxo cubes! Really well-timed, many thanks!:T:T:)

    (As for my own shopping in Aldi, it wasn't much expensive. Till person rung up the very few items I'd bought and told me the amount. As if to say I was getting something of good value. ...I felt like telling her they'd just reduced the weight of the items I'd bought by 40g! :(:(Getting less for the same price now - but still best I can do on these items (cooked meats). Popped in on my route to the A wombling collections anyway, so made sense even if buying v. little, to stop off.)

    For me I've managed it by shopping at Sains. (brought my planned S vs A shop forward by a few days and put the cubes onto it. Then went again for an ad-hoc shop!:D) Unfortunately for yourself, it worked very well for me as my Sains. is virtually at the end of the road from where I live!!:T I've happened to go nowhere near an A today. Hoping for you and others this price keeps on a.com tomorrow and that you're able to benefit in whatever next we find!;):)

    You deserve to benefit from your own find.

    But not to worry perhaps. I never seem to benefit from my own finds as much as everyone else on here does!!:(:(:mad::rotfl::rotfl:
    (Perhaps we'll just benefit from each others but not our own:rotfl:.)
