I have just cancelled all my sky subscriptions by email, I wonder how long it will be until they ring. I never answer the phone anyway so they'll have to leave a message
If they offer 50% off or better I may be pursuaded to stay with them0 -

And you think tosco staff know what they're talking about, shame on you0 -
Still not made it to the shops. Had to take extra codeine this morning and feel far too spaced out to drive at the moment
On the plus side I'm getting to know the postie very wellGetting daily deliveries of samples to test for Mother and Baby awards. Today had a Clevamama towel

My next try and another mistake. On the MSM app coke zero 2l is showing as 100% cashback. I was going to Waitrose this morning. They are £1.98 each or any 2 for £2. So I bought 2, but cashback shows as £1.
Looks like they have averaged the price out at £2 for 2 bottles, so £1 for one bottle. If I had only bought 1 I would have got £1.98 back. I didn't think this through to make best use of it. Here we go again.
Hello and welcome

IF you can survive without it (easier than you think!) then you should be offered at least 50% off, often more.
We had 3 months FREE - ALL channels at the end of last year - lasted until January. VERY surprised to have a phone call in March offering us all channels again free (incl sports & movies) for SIX months - taking us up until mid September.
We do just have an old Thomson Box - not Sky+ maybe that's why as read somewhere when they do the new cards the Thomson will no longer work???
IF it fails we'll wait until a good offer for new customers. Bought a load of cheap DVD's - about 40 at under £1 each HUKD deal & pretty new - & so far just watched one as offered free sky.
TBH I don't know why people spend so much on Sky, there are so many cheaper alternatives now.
Just a footnote - we've NEVER paid full price for Sky - installed then 1/2 price for minimum channels + 2 - Sky 1 etc & Discovery. We have had many offers of £4-£7pm for more channels than we initially signed up for. All channels free is rather nice though! Hardly ever watch Sport or Movies even though we can. The movies we find pretty rubbish. Hubby occasionally watches Superbowl etc. (he's American).0
