I always make a point of telling the SA that I've got coupons to use and then chat to them about all sorts of random stuff

This morning it was bottles with flip lids rather than screw ones ;)

penciled that in the brain for one to use on a delight ful sa:eek::rotfl::rotfl: if i put them on belt im afraid it will " eat them:o"

Just back from As - I hate Sunday closing! Anyway, Hula Hoops 18 variety pack went through the till at £2.09 and on MSL it is showing as £4.18, 2 for £6. I can't see them at all on A.com

    HTH

    Anon

I think that's what the SEL in my A said on the Hula Hoops 18 this afternoon (£2.09). Even if it says £4.18 on msm. Would that it were the other way around - SEL saying £2.09 but being charged £4.18.

[Strike]I think it's likely to show on APG from the price you paid (£2.09) unfortunately (that's if you bought into them:rotfl::D).[/Strike] [Edit: In fact, if it's not on a.com, I think it won't appear on the APG at all, regardless of whether or not it's on msm, or count towards the 8 items, as it would not be picked up by the comparison system when it goes to pick the items up from your receipt, as that process seems to operate via a.com transfer to the APG (and then whatever prices the APG picks up on that, from msm in delay and the glitches on the APG that aren't in msm.co.uk but which may (or may not) be on the msl app.).]

I can't see these Hula Hoops on a.com either - sadly not in a multibuy at all (to then allow mixing with something else that is on there and cheaper elsewhere).

Anyroad.. I've had enough of big crisps packs for the moment:(:(...

Just been having a right :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:at some of these

THESE ARE ACTUAL COMPLAINTS RECEIVED BY "THOMAS COOK HOLIDAYS" FROM DISSATISFIED CUSTOMERS:

    1. "I think it should be explained in the brochure that the local convenience store does not sell proper biscuits like custard creams or ginger nuts."

    2. "It's lazy of the local shopkeepers in Puerto Vallarta to close in the afternoons. I often needed to buy things during 'siesta' time -- this should be banned."

    3. "On my holiday to Goa in India, I was disgusted to find that almost every restaurant served curry. I don't like spicy food."

    4. "We booked an excursion to a water park but no-one told us we had to bring our own swimsuits and towels. We assumed it would be included in the price"

    7. "The beach was too sandy. We had to clean everything when we returned to our room."

    8. "We found the sand was not like the sand in the brochure. Your brochure shows the sand as white but it was more yellow."

    10. "They should not allow topless sunbathing on the beach. It was very distracting for my husband who just wanted to relax. "

    12. "No-one told us there would be fish in the water. The children were scared."

    13. "Although the brochure said that there was a fully equipped kitchen, there was no egg-slicer in the drawers."

    14. "We went on holiday to Spain and had a problem with the taxi drivers as they were all Spanish."

    15. "The roads were uneven and bumpy, so we could not read the local guide book during the bus ride to the resort. Because of this, we were unaware of many things that would have made our holiday more fun."

    16. "It took us nine hours to fly home from Jamaica to England. It took the Americans only three hours to get home. This seems unfair."

    17. "I compared the size of our one-bedroom suite to our friends' three-bedroom and ours was significantly smaller."

    18. "The brochure stated: 'No hairdressers at the resort'. We're trainee hairdressers and we think they knew and made us wait longer for service."

    19. "There were too many Spanish people there. The receptionist spoke Spanish, the food was Spanish. No one told us that there would be so many foreigners."

    20. "We had to line up outside to catch the boat and there was no air-conditioning."

    21. "It is your duty as a tour operator to advise us of noisy or unruly guests before we travel."

    22. "I was bitten by a mosquito. The brochure did not mention mosquitoes."

    23. "My fianc! and I requested twin-beds when we booked, but instead we were placed in a room with a king bed.
We now hold you responsible as she is pregnant!!!

Thank You to whoever posted about the Birds Eye Haddock for £1.
Managed to get 14 packs for my Mum, as it is very easy to prepare and she doesn't eat meat.
Had to take some 10p bread out of her freezer to get it in and remove boxes - but luckily all nicely individually packed

Had the 75p off vouchers, so total cost was £3.50 :j
Well would have been but a few JF helped.

Really pleased this has helped, my first real 'find' and proper food too. (Having to pass on the chocolate and crisps with 5:2).

Yep really easy to prepare ....hope everyone who wants them finds them.

Just been having a right :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:at some of these

THESE ARE ACTUAL COMPLAINTS RECEIVED BY "THOMAS COOK HOLIDAYS" FROM DISSATISFIED CUSTOMERS:

    1. "I think it should be explained in the brochure that the local convenience store does not sell proper biscuits like custard creams or ginger nuts." Yes, I agree it should!

    2. "It's lazy of the local shopkeepers in Puerto Vallarta to close in the afternoons. I often needed to buy things during 'siesta' time -- this should be banned." :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    3. "On my holiday to Goa in India, I was disgusted to find that almost every restaurant served curry. I don't like spicy food."
    Well what do you expect?

    4. "We booked an excursion to a water park but no-one told us we had to bring our own swimsuits and towels. We assumed it would be included in the price" :rotfl:
    (??!!?)

    7. "The beach was too sandy. We had to clean everything when we returned to our room."
Don't you normally have to clean stuff up if you go onto a sandy beach?? I think the cleaning up is to be expected - use your eyes (or, if you're blind, your sense of touch) before you choose to go onto the beach!

    8. "We found the sand was not like the sand in the brochure. Your brochure shows the sand as white but it was more yellow."
Complain to the Advertising watchdog and or Trading Standards:rotfl:.

    10. "They should not allow topless sunbathing on the beach. It was very distracting for my husband who just wanted to relax. "
Possibly a fair point - is the beach marked to say it is a topless beach? Does the brochure make that position clear?

    12. "No-one told us there would be fish in the water. The children were scared." :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
(What do these parents/carers expect? Is there not some element of responsibility left with parents etc. rather than expecting everyone else/society to take responsibility for protecting the sensibilities of your kids?)

    13. "Although the brochure said that there was a fully equipped kitchen, there was no egg-slicer in the drawers."
Ummm...does 'fully equipped' extend to providing a kitchen with an egg-slicer?

    14. "We went on holiday to Spain and had a problem with the taxi drivers as they were all Spanish."
And... So what! Deal with it! I think the key is in the first six words of what you said.

    15. "The roads were uneven and bumpy, so we could not read the local guide book during the bus ride to the resort. Because of this, we were unaware of many things that would have made our holiday more fun." :rotfl:
Total nonsense. Should have read the guide book somewhere else. Don't think yours is a valid complaint. Next...!!

    16. "It took us nine hours to fly home from Jamaica to England. It took the Americans only three hours to get home. This seems unfair."
Without more context, I'm unable to comment.

    17. "I compared the size of our one-bedroom suite to our friends' three-bedroom and ours was significantly smaller."
It's got one bedroom in yours!:wall:

    18. "The brochure stated: 'No hairdressers at the resort'. We're trainee hairdressers and we think they knew and made us wait longer for service." :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
A little bit of paranoia creeping in? (The brochure obviously means they aren't any hairdressers to cut your hair at the resort... doh !!)

    19. "There were too many Spanish people there. The receptionist spoke Spanish, the food was Spanish. No on
e told us that there would be so many foreigners." Was this in Spain by any chance???:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:What a surprise!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    20. "We had to line up outside to catch the boat and there was no air-conditioning."
Perhaps a selective quote from an otherwise partly valid concern? Was there any covering provided to the lining up? May be a valid point if drenching in rain and expected better. I assume no air-conditioning on the boat - but how long was the boat trip?? If staying on the boat for a number of days for example, then might expect to have something to meet health standards. If just a one-hour boat trip then, well...forget it!!

    21. "It is your duty as a tour operator to advise us of noisy or unruly guests before we travel."
    Citation please?

    22. "I was bitten by a mosquito. The brochure did not mention mosquitoes."
Nor does it need to. It should be plain and obvious that anyone travelling to the country you obviously went to should take suitable precautions, get mosquitto plugs or other things from local chemist on arrival etc.

    23. "My fiance and I requested twin-beds when we booked, but instead we were placed in a room with a king bed.
    And... your point is???:rotfl:
We now hold you responsible as she is pregnant!!!
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Do all you like mate!

My responses to those complaints (above).
