I had 1500 100% GLOWING feedback yet marked down on stars, people just do it depending on their mood etc.. who knows! I lost my account because of it. You also think you can't have that much bad luck but even buying the last 6 second hand items I have bought have been awful.. stained/ripped etc... ebay is fast going downhill!

Maybe the box was damaged? It really irritates me when I buy a boxed item (i.e. the item is in it's original box) and it's just sent in a postage bag or brown paper, because inevitably the box gets damaged by being crushed.

I find it's inevitable that sooner or later, a 'DSR wrecker' will launch a covert assault on my stars. I try block anyone who has a dodgy reputation for leaving routinely poor feedback or whose messages suggest they are going to be a problem, but occasionally, a saboteur slips through, with a last minute bid.

Of course, it's easy enough to work out who left the poor DSR (but positive feedback), by process of elimination and fortunately, such events are few and far between for the average DSRs to stay above the danger zone.

However, I am keenly aware that as a private seller, if through sheer bad luck, I was to receive several adverse DSR ratings in quick succession, my seller account would probably be unable to recover in time, before eBay pulled the plug on me! :(

The box itself was very sturdy and it was bubble wrapped and protected with cardboard which I placed under the bubble wrap so I don't think it was, its more so the dispatch time which has irritated me, won Saturday night, no PO open on a sunday, sent first thing Monday morning 2nd class recorded as stated in my listing, received yesterday (Wednesday) 2 days later and on time.
He has now been blocked anyway, I have sold loads of the same items and all sent the same way, always pos feedback and full stars.

I had a guy messaging me asking me totally ridiculous questions about my item, wasting my time so he was blocked right away, why waste time sending silly irrelevant messages wasting peoples time, im guessing they had nothing better to do!

I've come to the conclusion that there is no predicting ebay and buyers. They will just do what they want.
I've just had someone recently mark me down on stars on dispatch time. Even though he paid midnight on the Sunday, dispatched Monday morning, received Tuesday morning, feedback Tuesday dinner time. I know it was them as hadn't had anyone else leave feedback for over a week.
Think they think we should stay up all night and then take it to their door personally, half of the time.

Even better though is those that sit there messaging you after winning the auction and then don't pay for 5 days. If you are sat there on your computer messaging me, you can also pay at the same time. Have someone that does that every week to me.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.
