Help laying out a bathroom please

I like bathroom 3, but it does depend on if you have enough room next to your toilet. We also have a small-ish bathroom and it's tricky getting the right layout.
I love our shower bath, but if you don't have room for one choose your bath carefully so that it maximises "shower space" - a friend once had her shower positioned so that you couldn't stand directly under it unless you were on the "slope" within the bath which wasn't very comfortable...0 -
I have a small bathroom and I fitted in a showerbath, have you though of reversing the door so it opens out wards it may help0

The layout will be dictated by where the existing soil stack is - and that's likely to be where the WC is.
Installing a soil pipe to match any other WC location will be a pain, involving a 100mmx100mm (at least) box running round the perimeter. You won't be able to run it below floorboards, as that would take too much out of the joists. You can get away with wastes from basin or bath going below, as they're smaller.
Don't plan the final layout until you've run it past a plumber who does bathroom installations as routine.
Do you NEED a bath? Why not go for a shower tray and screen that matches the current bath size, and put that where the bath is at the moment?0 -
Unfortunately we do need a bath as the 2 DD's won't shower.
I think we're just going to upgrade the suite as is and get one of these showers to put in the middle of the wall
How much do plumber normally charge to replace a suite? I know it's a "how long is a piece of string" but just a rough ball park figure would be nice please
What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
A rectangular shower rail would solve the window and lack of end wall to the bath. with a shower head fitting in ceiling, so you dont need an angled head, which requires more standing room0
