    I had an issue like this and it turned out to be an oddly worn tyre. When the car was jacked up and the wheel spun, you could see a slight dip and slight bulge in the tread area. Not obvious what caused the wear / damage as all the suspension was ok.

    As no mechanical faults have been found could it be wind noise from misaligned trim or loose sump covers.

    Turns out it was the n/s wheel bearing. Car is really quiet now.
