Good on your for dumping her stuff on the doorstep, far more attractive than being clingy or needy and, when you look back on this, you will be SO proud of yourself for doing it!

For what it's worth and I know others don't agree but I think if someone is lying to you to the point that you think you're losing your marbles then it's perfectly acceptable to go about proving to yourself that it's not all in your head.

Cheers people, just had a feeling she was testing this other guy while keepin all her stuff at mine while keeping me hangin on, na not me, like dkls said time to get out sat!

Exactly when u know ur right all the writing is on the wall, why lie, I'd rather just know, didn't even get angry when she finally admitted it, was more a sense of relief..

For what it is worth I think you are best off well out of it with your ex OP. Being messed around by someone who cant simply be straight with you, adds a nasty extra to the end of a relationship. Chalk this down to experience and move on.

Now she has the cheek to start hounding me for a couple hundred quid she paid for wardrobes, she's got 2.5k ring she wants to keep, I've paid for the holiday where supposed to be goin on in 2 weeks, as well as gettin !!!! loads of stuff on credit for the house, as well as a car loan in my name (which I do think she will pay but not holding my breath), some women eh, this is actually making me realise what a close call I had...

If she paid for furniture it sounds reasonable that she would either get to keep it or that buy it off her? If you bought other items for the house presumably they get to stay in the house,so fair enough?

If the car loan is in your name either have her take it on, or get the car back.

Can you get a refund on the holiday, if not take someone else?

But IMo it would be petty and in bad taste to mention the ring...a gift is a gift and you should not ask for it back.

At least you have a holiday to look forward to, in the meantime sort out the split and finances then head off for some sun and fun.
