Contract with o2 ending, Shall I move to another provider?

Nonsense! Ovivio is PAYG with free monthly allowances, not contract so they "never catch people out". If you use up all your data for the month and you don't have any credit on the phone, the data just stops working (until you top up).
Unlike contracts you can never end up with a big bill even if the phone is lost or stolen.
Why would anyone take out an uncapped contract? Risk and stress!
that's great to hear, what network is ovivo backed by?0 -
also I'm trying to work out how they make money for £0 contracts.
Are they ad supported or something? if so how are they ads servied? do you have to listen to an ad before your call connects or are you send ad text messages or something?0 -

People seem to suggest that ad supported internet/phones have not worked in the past and this is unlikely to work now.0 -

What service? Giff Gaff are awful.
How can they 'block buy' from themselves; they are just O2 rebranded.spacey2012 wrote: »Giff gaff, they block buy from o2, so get the same deal and service for a tiny fraction of o2 price on pay and go.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. +1. Giffgaff ARE awful. Ditched them a long time ago.0

Giffgaff are fine if you don'tneed customer service. They have a stupid forum for customer ssupport where you have to post questions, the reward these forum people for posting answers so what happens is you get 20+ pointless posts a thread.
Like someone may ask "is giffgaff owned by the same group as o2" them you have 20 people posting replies like "yes it is" . I think they get paid pennies per post.0
