Warning-PORT your # from ORANGE;lose your Online access to your account, immediately

Just to say thanks for all your comments and hope it is a warning to others.
I'm not surprised that it is not just Orange who withhold online access. But as I mentioned I can still logon to my previous 3 O2 accounts after 2 years (the data is obviously expired now, although I know banks have to keep their records for 6 years and certainly Natwest let you view back all those 6 years)
But the policy, whether intentional or not, creates extra work (communications) and rather defeats the object of the benefit to all of going paperless, less paper, less postage, easy access.0
