Sky - Top Cashback

Options
Hi all,

I am a current Sky full package customer - and going to be moving house soon.

I am considering cancelling my subscription and becoming a new customer (under the girlfriend’s name) at the new property.

What I was wondering, is given all the incentives for each package available, has anyone had any experience of signing up to the basic package – currently offering £63 cashback and £100 M&S vouchers, followed shortly after by the sports bundle (£84 cashback and £100 M&S) and then soon after the Movies (same as sports).

Am I likely to activate all the deals, rather than if I just sign up in one go and £131.25 cashback and £100 in vouchers for the complete package.

Anyone with any experience of this - would be very useful, if it would work I would rather do this than tell them I am moving but want a discount etc etc.

Thanks in advance!

I haven't had any experience of this but I would suggest, if you want the full package to go with that from the start as a just in case it doesn't work.
I'd also give Sky a call to see if they do offer a discount which might be more beneficial long term.

    Good luck whatever you decide.

I don't do cashback yet so don't really understand how it works but Movies costs much less than Sports so how can cashback amount be the same?

Recently moved house with Virgin, if Sky say you have to take your account with you it may not register with Top Cash Back as new business ?
If possible probably better to open new account

Thanks for your replies. To be honest, what I originally suggested perhaps is a bit of a faff, and I would want the sports straight away. I think I'll quit and become a new customer though, mostly to get them out to install it, and get a new box rather than bring the old one which is 3 yrs old and more liable to break down. Cashback from there is a bonus.
