  • If you like having fresh flowers, try gerbera daisies. Just one or two of them in a plain vase can look very stylish, especially if they're brightly-coloured.

    To make flowers last longer, put a drop or two of bleach into the water (no more or you might kill them). This apparently stops them decomposing so quickly. Works for me, anyway.

    Learn to do a job around the house really well (I can do skirting boards and laminate flooring) then make your services available to your friends you will be amazed how much reciprocal work will be offered for your own home when you need it.

    Borrow books from your local library, they also have all the latest magazines which you can read there. Good for saving money and keeping the library in use. :T

    Its an old fashioned cleaning product which is meant to be fab at cleaning everything.
