didn't think you got charged for them? If you do then surely it's just part of your banks regular charges? It's not WHAT you know, it's WHO you know0

Try and get in the habit of keeping about £2/3 in the car for parking fees - it avoids having to go and buy something in the nearest shop just to get change.Gwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0

I've worked my whole July budget based on the income of 4 weekly pay packets. As it has been a 5 week month i've effectively got a whole weeks pay packet to enjoy. the next 5 week month is in september so i'll try and do the same0

Take it in turns with friends to be the taxi on a night out. You all save money on taxi fares and one night out you'll not spend on alcohol so save money.
If you like having the same hairdresser find one that comes to your house. My cut, highlights and blowdry cost £40, compared to well over £100 in most salons. There is also no temptation to buy products.
Look in places like Primark for fashion items and basics. They sell loads of stuff you'll pay three times as much for in other high street fashion chains and as fashion moves so quickly you can be trendy without wasting money.
Try to avoid brand names when getting products. You're the only one that will know your shampoo isn't the latest must have beauty buy.
Look in places like savers and wilkinsons for toiletries, you save a fortune and often they get stuff that is changing packaging etc and sell it much cheaper.Quit smoking 18/08/070 -
whoever suggested cutting dishwasher tabs in half, thank you very much!
Works more often than not, and though not a superdiduper big thing, it's the little things that add up!:rudolf:0 -
You can also use white vinegar instead of rinse aid - much cheaper and works brilliantly!"This site is addictive!"

Lydia.42 wrote:Tesco's accept money off vouchers/coupons for products they sell, even if you haven't bought the item. I regularly rummage through friend's/relative's magazines and collect the 10p off muller yoghurts, 20p off brands of butter i never even use, etc and trade them in when i do my shopping. So long as you buy a number of items, and don't try and use lots of the same type of voucher in one go, the check-out staff wont even bat an eye-lid. I normally get a couple of quid off my shop each time i go. :rotfl:
Im surprised you can do that will have to give it a go!Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.
