    4. You take this Statement/Bill to the shop. They calculate the admin etc and also minus the 99p. They then write a cheque out to you for the difference. My cheque came to £456.
    5. You bank the cheque
    6. A few days later TMobile will take the money from your account.

    Simple...

Best thing to do is give them a ring. 11.00 - 19.00

And I don't understand the "work out the admin". Clearly they are just making it up - so they should specify it up-front and be honest that the cost of the SIM is NOT a net 99p at all.

I don't see the need for such scepticism. Other companies have been making such offers for some time, though it has become rarer for the phone and contract to be separated like this. It is surprising that the commission is refunded so early though, when other cashback deals usually involve a longer wait, but this does not make it unbelievable either.

Quick refund could be connected to paying up front for 1 year - hence 6 month network clawback may not apply?
    I think....

Additionally since the network is not paying for a phone and getting paid for the contract upfront thus there being no clawback the deal would be sweeter for the agent thus a better deal for the customer..possibly

not really having a dig at you . you seem to be so sensitive, just trying to clarify a few of your statements. cannot recall u mentioning 'post' anywhere. anyway never mind . just have to phone em a.m. to see if any sims left
    anyway, thanks for original post.
btw what does 6 months clawback mean and what is exactly the gross cost of these sims????????/
