donnajunkie wrote: »you just sound like either one of those very bad advisers or a internet troll. it really isnt hard to understand. if people are required to jobsearch 7 days then that service that is supposed to help should logically also be available 7 days a week. you just dont like it because while you are happy to tell people they cant have any time off you dont want to give up yours.0

those that think you can look for work for 35 hours a week are deluding themselves, yeah maybe one week or even two but by week three you would have fired off CV to every business within a 20 mile radius, that would just leave seaching for present job vacancies when they come up.
let the JSA people demand a 35 hour search a week but in reality it's no where near that.0 -

search distance is 90 minutes from home, unless you use a rocket you are not going to cover 1250 miles :rotfl:0 -

Whilst that may be true for a minority I suspect the majority do have access as is evident by their postings on here. They could easily be job searching over the weekend instead of posting endless excuses why they can't.
I haven't seen people making excuses
You seem too keen to attack the other forum members who are job seeking0 -

Cant understand why anyone is replying to sensible advice. They dont belong on here, they have no experience of work programmes or being unemployed. Just ignore them.:footie:0 -
No, but they (as taxpayers) are footing the bills, both for the benefits, and the WP's, so if things aren't actually getting people into some sort of work, then it is of concern to both users of the services and everyone else.
That was the point of them!
LinYou can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.0 -

True, but then shouldn't they be looking at 'the system' too and not just blaming job seekers.
It all seems very one sided from their point of view.0
