unreasonable amount of balls over the fence?
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4111297
I've had fencing replaced so the delightful young England squad wannabes next door cant wander into my garden to collect their balls - thats the 10 fence panels they destroyed with their footballs.
Just been out & bagged up 40 balls from the weekend.
I guess the comunity bobby is the way to go.
40 balls (could be a couple more in growth!!) Is totally ridiculous in anyones language isnt it?

You mean make a nuisance of myself to other neighbours as they do to me?0 -

I have a similar problem. One of the younger children next door uses my fence to kick the balls against. This is quite startling when you're sitting relaxed in the garden.
I tend to get two footballs a day, every in my garden.
What i'm doing now is holding on to them. I'm a bit worried that my new plants are going to be crushed soon.Everyone is entitled to my opinion!0 -

Yes you are :T, give them back to the house over the other side of the estate that you *think" they belong to,;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
Yes, 40 is too many.
Actually, 4 is too many, but one has to start somewhere.
I would throw back, 2 out of 3 of them and retain the others. Difficult mathematically with 40, but try.
Continue returning balls on this basis and no one is likely to accuse you of retaining them. Even if they do, you simply don't know where they could have gone. Perhaps they went into another garden? Perhaps....well it's not your problem. Hang it all, you're doing your best!
Advice given on the basis that any child who does this, with or without parental knowledge, is probably a right little toe rag . Parents will almost certainly be similar. You don't want retaliation or a dispute, and presumably you don't want to move house any time soon.0 -
We've had golf balls and air rifle pellets on our panels, as well as footballs etc.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
