Are you 100% sure Voyager?
I was under the impression from some old data protection act training (or similarly boring) that only the card that paid for the service can be refunded, thus preventing fraud. The Card Payee is responsible for all parties booked under that card, thus in equal measure the hotel is responsible for refunding the card.
I'm 90% sure that's right, but feel free to correct me!
And I wish I had your Card Processing Company - if I make a refund, I have to pay the % on the initial monies AND the refund, so a double whammy. Scourge of my life these companies.0
