UKPC Belfast

Options
Hi guys read with great interest your various and informative replies to the antics of UKPC Belfast.Driver accused of leaving the actual car park, logged on to their site picture of car parked correctly only.Usual crack appeal to their web site ,which without all your help and advise i most probably would have done, take it this is a fishing attempt. Parking defined as for patrons only for a 3 hour period, no attempt to identify actual driver or the fact we actually made a purchase in one of the shops UKPC allegedly represent within the prescribed time frame. Do I simply ignore the parking invoice and tough it out, do,not need the hassle but without sounding cheesy there is a principle involved and if they want their £60.00 they can work for it. Help or advise will be appreciated, its time more motorists where made aware of the antics of this company.:)

As this is Northern Ireland and there is no registered keeper liability , the advice is to ignore as they don't even know who was driving unless you tell them. Its highly unlikely to go to the small claims as they don't know who to take there
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

    Deedee,

You can ignore with impunity, as far as we are aware no PPC has ever made a court claim in N. Ireland, and for sure UKPC have never made a court claim anywhere in the UK.

There is no hassle involved, just wait for the junkmail to arrive from UKPC,Debt Recovery + & Zenith collections and have a good laugh. Several posters on here and on Pepipoo have ignored N.Ireland PPC tickets, there are no consequences. I myself got a UKPC ticket at Cityside Retail Park in January,I've run the course of all the standard letters and now it has all gone quiet.
IGNORE, IGNORE and then IGNORE some more.

It's true, the only time UKPC ever went to Court was when they were taken there:

That's all you all need to know apart from the previews of the letters to ignore:
