History of sold houses on Zoopla

How detailed is this? In other words, can they miss a chunk of sales off their list?
We're currently eyeing a house for sale in an area we want to live in. Due to reasons in my other thread we're undecided on whether to go pursue it or not. The other option is to leave it & wait for something else in this area to come up.
So i had a look at Zoopla to see the sale history for this road & there's not really much selling. I think the first house listed was sold in 2010, then perhaps 2 houses in 2009, nothing in 2008, maybe 2 in 2007 & so on .... small amounts.
I had a look at surrounding roads & it was a similar story - not a lot listed.
So if we leave it then we could be waiting a long long time for something to come up & even then it could be over our budget (as what we're looking at is forcing us to be patient as it is).
Just wondered if Zoopla missed chunks of house sales on their list?

It might be that very few houses have been sold.
Cross check the information with rightmove or nethouseprices to see if the information is the same as Zoopla.

I think it takes a few weeks for new sales to appear as well0

I have notice that some sales history is incomplete on RM and/or Zoopla.
I would go direct to the horse's mouth and use the land reg site:
http://houseprices.landregistry.gov.uk/
imo it is easier to use and more comprehensive0 -

which shows exactly the same details as the others, including missing mine (and my neighbour's) house off the last, both of which I know were actually sold0 -

I'm guessing i wasn't looking for the details of your house... or your neighbours'
As I stated in my post, the LR site contained details of houses that were omitted from either / both or zoopla/RM.0 -

perhaps
but it doesn't contain details of all property that are missing from Z/RM
sometimes details are missing from Z/RM because the LR has lost them
