dog tag - what to put on it?

My dogs have the large round tags (too big for some dogs but fine on mine) on one side they have their names, they are both stupid enough to answer to anything anyway and love people so somebody knowing their name wouldn't make it easier to steal them. Underneath is "chipped and neutered" to hopefully deter anyone stealing for breeding, especially my girl as she had a litter before being rescued and spayed and it is obvious she's had a litter. It also has the first line of our address on this side.
On the other side it has four contact numbers, mine and OHs mobiles, our landline and my parents landline so between us there will always be someone to answer.
They also have a second tag from the rescue that is in the adoption agreement they always wear it. This has the rescue name, two contact numbers and an I.D. code for the dog. If nobody can get hold of us the rescue can collect the dogs and get them back to us.0 -
Mine has a round disk, with "microchipped" on one side and my mobile number on the other0

Mine has 3 different tags. Two go on her collar - one is a yellow tag with the words 'Scan me' on one side and 'microchipped' on the other and one is a disk with 'I AM MICROCHIPPED' on one side and my address & telephone no. on the other. She has a copy of that tag on her harness, too.
With regards to lead training & using harnesses - It would be wise to also put a collar on too and somehow attach that to the harness (then attach the lead to the harness so you're not actually using the collar). Harnesses are notoriously easy to get out of, even if they are well fitting, so having something like a collar attached to it will mean you've still got hold of your dog if one day they decide to do a houdini act!0 -
Mine has name (both hers and mine), address, postcode, and I AM CHIPPED on one side, and contact numbers and vets number on the otherside.
I home board dogs, and whilst they are here they wear a tag saying 'I am home boarding at *company name* I may be worried and unsure of my surroundings' then address, postcode, my numbers and nominated vets phone numberI don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Mine have their names and my mobile number.
I've always had their names on their tags.
If they ever get lost and someone kind tries to get them to safety, I feel the use of their names will reassure them.0 -
Mine has my address on one side, and 'Take me home or I'll eat you' on the other side.0

Mine has home phone no and mobile no on one side and "scan me" on the other. I don't want my address on the tag.
It is attached to his collar which he wears almost all the time. When being walked though he wears a soft harness. I don't like using collars for walks especially if a dog pulls as it can damage their throat and/or neck. Some studies suggest that it can cause thyroid problems.
A harness with a front and back clip using a double ended lead is brilliant to stop them pullingThe world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0
