Dalesrider, hindsight is a wonderful thing, but doesn't really help me right now. Don't you think I'm kicking myself enough right now. Talk about rub salt in the wounds.

I had numerous conversations with them asking if they were uk based, etc, and they lied. I may get a refund yet, but I'm thinking about others in the future, and would like to try and get the word out. Shoot a girl for trying to help others eh

Was not aimed at you personally. I deal will loads of people who have used sites selling non genuine goods.
Very few ever admit that they have looked at anything on the sites other than the pics and the 1st they realise there is a possible issue is when the amount on their statements does not match the email they received... Exchange rate difference.

Sadly unless they are selling counterfeit goods then no one will really be interested.
All you can do is post on review sites how bad the goods are. Add in they are not a UK based co..

    Coopdivi.
As I said less than a min. Any tele no and address should clearly be seen in that time :p
    But I stand corrected. :T

Nobody's rubbing salt in the wounds as such, just helping you avoid this problem in the future. The internet is worldwide, we cannot impose our standards on overseas companies, so we need to double check a company before giving them money.

Finally remember anybody can buy a url ending .co.uk. Please don't assume that this means a co is based in the UK.

I apologise for not being clear, but the co.uk was not how I concluded they were based in the UK. I know that has nothing to do with where you are based.
I got my belief that they were based in the UK from their website stating they were based in the Uk, and then from them confirming this with me when asked.
But I do understand my stupidity in this matter; ordinarily I would never touch a Hong Kong company. But my aunt who suffers very poor health came to me for help at the 11th hour for a wig for her sons wedding. So maybe time pressure led to a silly decision. But I just want to stop them preying on more vulnerable and sick people.

Apologies if that was not aimed at me, but as you were replying to my thread, I thought it was aimed at me.
Unfortunately this company has false addresses, false claims to be based based in the Uk, false claims about returns, so I got suckered. But I do see and accept where I was stupid here, I just don't want others to make the same mistake and believe the lies and false claims
