Anybody know what there like for refunds/replacement ?

Ordered some front brake pads for my Vauxhall Astra last week but there the wrong pads, put my Reg number in the part finder thingy that they have and they said these were the pads for my car.

Anybody had any experience with these, tried contacting them Saturday but did not get anywhere but will have another go tomorrow.

Thanks

I had a rubbish experience with them.
They didn't send out a part to me. Then didn't email the form to state I didn't receive the goods. I couldn't be bothered with all this larking about so raised a dispute for the whole amount with PayPal. After chasing up the form, which tried to place blame on the courier, I finally received the part but like yours didn't quite fit. I couldn't be bothered to send it back and sort it out so half made it fit (non essential part of the car).

However, my dispute via PayPal was still open so in the end got a refund for the whole transaction.
Not sure if they were even aware but for the hassle they put me through instead of just sending out a new part next day (like Amazon for instance), it was gratefully received.

    Thanks anotheruser,

Read one or two stories about poor customer services, I need the front pads renewing no later than next weekend so to be on the safe side I might be best going local for the pads.

I don't think Parts 4 Less will be able to sort it out before then, and there was me thinking how can you go wrong when you have my Reg Number for the parts

Parts are ok, service is terrible.

I emailed customer services to complain, they really didn't care so I emailed them again. Slightly better reply, still not what I would expect.

Left a bad review on Trustpilot and Carparts4less complained about it, so it was removed...briefly. Trustpilot reinstated it and it stands.

Re: wrong parts, some of the databases the companies use to work out the correct parts are inaccurate, hence wrong parts.

Tried Eurocarparts too, just as bad.

Now use Kimber Car Parts, much better service, and so far all parts have been correct.

ECP are their sister company and are terrible for customer services. I had an issue with their courier (Yodel) and demanded a refund but ECP customer services really didn't want to know.

I ended up writing the facts on their Facebook page and surprisingly that kicked them into action

they sell stuff at rock bottom prices, everything is computerised and they put their own product codes in the barcodes so understandable sometimes computers mess up or couriors mess up and the customer service people are just as clueless as you are.

Most of the time they get it right though. If you want customer service, go somehwere more expensive like the parts shop of your authorised dealer

Tend to agree with you there, never brought on line before for car parts and usually go to the local car part shop as it does help when you can have a good look at the parts to check before you buy and he is very good at replacing if you find the parts are wrong.

Going back to my wrong pads sent, got a mail today saying my Reg number comes up with a 2004 model, were as on there site it lists 2003.

My car is 2003, they are now looking in to it and trying to locate the correct pads, at least something is being done about it and I got a quick reply that I was not expecting.

Thanks for all the advice everybody, I will think twice before ordering on line next time.
