Talk Talk £70 Love 2Shop voucher offer

Hi, I went to sign up on Thursday for the Talk Talk essentials package that gave a £70 Love2Shop voucher (as advertised through this site), but was told I needed a new line (when entering details on Talk Talk's website) at the flat I am moving to. Therefore, I did not rush to set it up (offer ended mid-night Thursday) as I was busy that night.
Today I have more time and go to set it up and Talk Talk now say I DO NOT need a new line on the very same page  meaning I WAS allegable for the £70 voucher!
Have any other people had this problem as I have now missed out on the £70 voucher and am disgusted that I have been lied to by Talk Talk.
Now thinking about going with someone else - especially as I have read some of the horror stories on here!

I've also been wondering about changing my phone & broadband to TalkTalk. Although the MSE offer has expired you can still get £70 cashback through Quidco. This rate is valid for another 7 days. Alternatives are via Topcashback £24.24 or iMutual £48.
If you are not a member of one of these I could send you my referrer link. Not sure if I can post it here.0 -
Deals will always come up, TalkTalk need the new customers to sign up to replace the lost customers. Keep your ear to the ground0

Agreed. Talktalk are telecoms' version of DFS - always a sale on because they, I suspect, have a pretty high churn rate. Which is I guess one of the reasons they tie you in for 12 months. It's a numbers game with this company.0
