If you placed a correct address on file with the credit check company expect a debt collector calling to to collect the CCJ now they have you correct details.
If it is your CCJ and you did not receive papers you can apply to have it set aside.

When you set aside what do you mean?

I don't mind paying the debt if I'm responsible for it but don't want to pay any Late charges etc if the mail was going to an old address

Thanks I just done it for my mums address and it came for there. Doesn't say who or what just says £600 unsatisfied for Bromley Court? Bit worried now tbh

The court should be able to shed some light.

You may have to pay some late charges and accumulated interest if you moved without telling a creditor that you still owed money to, as they had no way of contacting you.

You can apply to have the CCJ aside (taken off the record and removed) on the basis that you received no paperwork. The creditor could then just take you back to court to apply for another CCJ, but if you have the money to pay the debt in full then you can do so and no judgment will be made. Alternatively, if you can gather the money together within 30 days of the CCJ being made, again it can be removed from the record.

You can not set it aside if you did a bunk and did not tell the creditor where you were living.
If they did know your current address and failed to serve papers to it a N244 form can be filed to have it set aside as pointed above.
I would however if you care for mum, change your noddle to your current address where they can find you as mum is now likely to be getting lots of attention from debt collectors looking for you now the file has bee accessed.
    Be happy...;)
