Hi everyone, when selecting a film from sky store, does it download first before watching or can you watch straight away like you do with sky box office. I'm confused about all this, but am I right in thinking that only the on demand that is downloaded first. I'm asking because I don't have unlimited BB.

I was under the assumption that anything via the Sky Store was streamed over the internet hence having to have the box connected, so yes you will be watching it straight away but it will also be using your internet connection0

Sky store is downloaded like other on-demand content.
You are only charged if you start watching the download.
Same as box office it's deleted after 7 days if unwatched and no charge.
If you start watching it you have 24hrs to complete it.0 -
Depending on the speed of your internet connection, you can usually start watching the (partial) download within about a minute (your Sky box calculates exactly when).Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
