my connection date was wednesday,nothing happened.rang them thursday asked what was going on they said there was a delay and it would be 24 -48 hours i went up the wall.i was feeling stressed anyway with moving from bt to talk talk. they were so unhelpful it was ridiculous. its now saturday and still have no internet,they r shut over the weekend so im stuffed. what on earth do i do? i am alsu switching my tv to them as well and thats due on monday but have had no freeview box. i feel totally let down.my daughter is doing her a levels and we need the internet .wish i had never done this.

The phone staff tell you anything to get you off the call - they have a range of reasons to tell you - all BS.

Best option is to have nothing to do with them.

Guess what? Still no broadband. Rang them Monday told it would be another 48 hours I told them I wanted to cancel as their service was complete rubbish. They offered to pay for a mobile dongle that I can get all my devices onto. I accepted their offer and have bought the device but its still going to cost me in paying for data allowance. I asked for a call back to keep me updated but no call back surprise surprise. Am going to call and cancel now,I've already paid for a tv aerial which has been put up so I can get free view. I've always had sky since I've been here so just have a dish.
It all sounded so promising when I agreed to go over to them,it's been a nightmare on top of a very stressful week for me with my son being assaulted at school with all the grief that brings. Thanks a lot Talk Talk.
