thomas cook flight delay

Hi

A sucess story in that I have received compensation from Thomas cook BUT its in the form of a voucher with a years validity!. As delightful as it is does anyone know if they can compensate with a voucher I thought it was "cash" and as its only valid for 1 year i miss out on next summer. Dont get me wrong Im not complaining but just wondered if this is right??

    Yes you can have cash instead of vouchers - keep copies of everything if you return to TC.
