Think Rowridge transmitter is down - how do I find out what's going on

Hi
Last night our Freeview stopped working. We know it's not the TV. Tried retuning, to no avail. I've looked at
http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/home/coverage checker - it's showing no problems
Tried calling their number - 08456 50 50 50 - can't get through to a human being to check
Any other ideas about how we can check if the transmitter is down?

Covers all transmitters.
Puddledown and Lulworth seem to have problems.
Have you tried another TV, or checked your aerial?

You don't by any chance have a Sony or Pioneer DVD recorder? There's a known problem. Have a look at AVforums for a workaround.0
