help calling all bsm employees

  • Hi everyone

Thanks for all your comments. The car was a sliver and orange astra and there was two people in the car.

I have contracted bsm in the area and they just said that without a number plate there is nothing they can do.

This happened in Brixton London at 7.50 in the morning and we have three witnesses and all there details there is loads of cctv around that area but the police said there is a 28 day cap before the videos are recorded over.

My fingers are crossed that the police come up with the cctv.

I have had a good look around today for the car but no luck.

My bf is going to be off work for a month or so but at least he is alive.

Many thanks for all your reply’s

I am sorry but I think they are fobbing you off, if the car has been damaged someone in the local office will know about it, if it was a learner in the car it should be easy to say who was giving lessons at that time in the morning from their records, though with the way he has driven off it sound like he was taking someone to work and not on a lesson.

There is a possiblity it may have been a car from another area not on a lesson but it is extremely unlikely, and as your boyfriend was injured I still think the local Police should make more enquiries at BSM's office.
  • Hi

I spoke to a manager at one of the local offices and she said only three offices use Brixton in there training area.

She was very upset that this has happened and said she will call a meeting with the other braches and all the drivers.

She said she will check all the cars for damage and will call me tomorrow.

I just hope it wasn’t a driver from another area dropping someone off.

Sounds like you have found someone who cares, though! Even if it does turn out to be a driver from outside the area, surely this manager you are dealing with would have the contacts to investigate further? Make sure you stay in touch with her so she sees you aren't going to just drop it at the first obstacle.

You have to wonder what kind of nutter would think he could drive away from the scene of an accident in such an easily identifiable vehicle???

If the damage is minor it is repaired at the local Vauxhall main dealer, if extensive it has to go back to BSM's own workshops.

Might be worth checking the Vauxhall Dealers around Brixton then?

I used to live near there and can't think of any - there can't be that many!

If you are sure it was an Astra it should be even easier to trace, only office staff or a senior driving instructor will have an Astra, the majority of instructors are given and use a Vauxhall Corsa until they have been with BSM for several years, so they have far less Astra's in use in each area.
