Compromise?
How about offering the money back for the same amount you bought it for and getting the Euros elsewhere? Staff are less likely to get a !!!!-kicking, but they've made no profit for a whole load of hassle - teaching them to wake up when dealing with money?0 -
How about just keeping it.
Or at the very best go 1/2 with them.
