My mobile internet data is being used when l'm not on it.
l have just taken up a 24 month contract with o2 and have 750mb of data but noticed it was using a little amount daily even when l have not used it... l have wi-fi at home so l'm not using any data then, and last night l checked my data while at home and had 745mb left so l thought l would check this out today by not using anything on the phone while l was out on 3G...
Tonight came in and onto my home wi-fi and checked on my mobile phone the data allowance left and it says 743mb .so where has 2 mb data gone since last night as l have'nt used anything...
l have downloaded a my o2 app that checks allowance data so l know its been used but where...
Any answers to where or why this could/has happpened, and how l can stop data draining while not on the internet..

A lot of apps are constantly using data, you can turn off mobile browsing until you need to use it. You should find it under settings.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

What phone have you got ?
Sounds fine. You have plenty of allowance.0 -
Its draining due to apps using data .
You need to find them and turn data off for each app .

Lastly, it's only a couple of MB.
All smart phones will use a few during a month to work correctly. As the other poster said, turn off data if you're that concerned. But then don't cry when you don't get any notifications :P0 -
