flight delayed

just as we were boarding our flight from Cardiff to Amsterdam , I received a text message then a phone call to tell us that our connecting flight to Almaty in kazakstan would be delayed by 3 hours , we were given vouchers to compensate us for the delay but it turned out to be over 5 hours . on return to the uk I thought we had been treated unfairly as when we asked why there was a delay we had the usual shrug of the shoulders and no real answer , after reading about being able to claim for the delay I used one of the cover letters from martins web site and after a few weeks and 4 emails we managed to get 1020 euros from klm , so don't give up if a company says we are looking into your claim keep at them :xmastree:we will win in the end
