Can I join you? We are first time buyers and had our offer accepted at the beginning of the month, and our broker has helped us to apply through NW for a mortgage and I am so worried that we won't get it. Good luck to you all, hope its good news soon for everone!

Well..... we FINALLY have our mortgage offer :j:j:j:j

The broker rang me back as he had managed to get the update from Halifax. I've never been so relieved in my whole life!

I feel a bit like that, unfortunately although I love the house it is too small to be a forever home.....not going to think too hard about that at the moment though haha! x

Ahhh, that is really helpful. I get it now, thanks and yes we are currently paying about £1250-£1500 a month on debts so we want to clear them all and start again and have no credit cards ever again!
