Anyone want to join me? Awaiting Mortgage decision...

I think it signifies date of application but I didn't specifically ask for confirmation of that- just assumed 😆 no they havent done the valuation yet either. I chased it today to find out and its not even booked. My HSBC mortgage advisor said she had put in another request today and will phone tomorrow to chase!cat3333 said:
At least you know the position now.katiescotland88 said:I am just off the phone to HSBC. Apparently the que for underwriters are in levels. Our application is at level 4, out of 1-4. So ours is in the next bunch to be assessed (application submitted 14/08). They said they will be doing credit assessment and can take 7-10 days 😲😵 we were hoping to hear back this week about a decision but now seems very unlikely!!
Are the levels 1-4 based on dates of application so or do they signify something else🤷🏻♀️. Have they done the valuation on yours yet?0 -
Had a physical valuation done last Monday, and decided to ring as we haven't heard anything... got told on the phone that our valuation is acceptable and we should expect an offer before the end of the week as things are really busy. Was 50/50 on calling, but glad I did!1

Keeping my fingers crossed for you and hope we both have good news as and when they get back to us🙂katiescotland88 said:

Abit nervous at the moment with all the delays going on, as I will need to exchange by 19th so worried if I don’t have my mortgage offer back by then and if I get rejected I could lose my deposit!Carl2510 said:

Hi everyone! Thought I’d join. Can’t stand the waiting! My partner is a lot more relaxed about it all but I can’t switch off! We’ve applied through Nationwide for 90% LTV. We’re first time buyers. Here’s our timeline so far:
29/07 - Decision in Principle applied for and referred, documents submitted same day
30/07 - Decision in Principle accepted
04/08 - Confirmation that documents were received on portal
08/08 - Full application submitted
08/08 - Valuation instructed
11/08 - Valuation booked for 27/08
18/08 - Hard checked
26/08 - Requested all our documents again?!
27/08 - Valuation report received under review
28/08 - Other documents received on portal
1/09 - Talked to Nationwide who said valuation was the same as our offer and we may have to wait until the 15th for their decision
so impatient 😂

I have to put down 10% at exchange so I have to give 23K and if I was then to not get a mortgage I lose that, I’ve worked along time to get that money to be then possible to lose it like that!katiescotland88 said:

I don't get how you would lose it? You can't exchange without a mortgage offer.Carl2510 said:
