Anyone want to join me? Awaiting Mortgage decision...

@J4mesg I'm less worried about my version, more concerned about the Solicitor receiving theirs to review and send to me to sign!
But thanks, good to know.
Newbuild, Lease has been signed, and deposit over, so fingers crossed the mortgage deed doesn't cause any issues and I can get those keys.1 -
firsttimebuyerlpl said:@Drawingaline how long did it take from application to getting your survey done? Did you receive a text message ? We submitted our application with Santander on Tuesday but have heard nothing other than they have received our application
We have had two queries from them, but are using a broker so have come through them. Only message direct from Santander was the one saying application received.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉0 -

DIP - 22 July
Full application - 23 July
Valuation - 3 Aug, which came back fine
Still waiting for an actual offer, starting to get pretty nervous now. Trying to get Nationwide 90% Mortgage.
Not sure which order TSB do things isnt helping my nerves. Assume desktop valuation but no idea.
Its been a long 3 weeks.04.06.12 no debt:beer:
Now house deposit saving £24,000 and rising:T thanks to 2x Barclays PPI successes0 -
Thanks! @craig_87 @Nikusar88
Received mine today (slightly wet and entirely underwhelming), the Solicitor hasn’t responded yet, hopefully they got theirs too!0 -

Finally getting to post here!
We are home movers looking to get the unicorn that is a 90% mortgage from HSBC. We had our appointment today and now went to under writers.
Our timescale is:
01/07 original AIP with Halifax
02/07 view forever home and put in offer (rejected due to not having an offer on current house)
21/07 offer accepted on sale of house
21/07 offer accepted on purchase of forever house
28/07 independent mortgage broker appointment (advised suitable for HSBC but broker currently unable to obtain)
29/07 AIP and appointment booked to apply with HSBC mortgage broker.
14/08 appointment with HSBC goes well and now through to underwriters.
We are a relatively simple case (permanently employed ,working straight through lockdown) so hopefully not too much longer to wait. Asked at the appointment and rough timescale of 10 working days. We are in Scotland so hopefully the home report valuation should be ok or else the wait might be a bit longer.

For anyone looking for Halifax application times, here is my timeline:
05/08/2020 AIP and application submitted
14/08/20 valuation carried out
14/08/20 mortgage advisor confirmed offered and will be receiving in next few days
It has been very smooth and no further information requested despite myself being affected by furlough, returned on full hours 01/08/20. So was expecting a lot of questions or information, super excited now!
70% LTV might have helped.
Good luck everyone still waiting!
