I've had radio silence from Nationwide for over a week so was hoping to see when they finally do the hard checks.

We had alerts the day after the hard searches were done by Nationwide on Credit Karma on 20 July. No alerts for soft searches but they showed up on Credit Karma the same day the DIP was done. We applied on 10July and still waiting.

Jumping on this! My partner and I are FTB, we applied to HSBC via a broker early July and are still awaiting the outcome. Our offer was accepted on 3rd and we got our AIP on 10th, we had a choice between HSBC and Platform and chose the former based on the broker's advice that they were processing applications quickly. I guess judging from everyone's experiences on here we're still working within a relatively normal timeframe although we are starting to get a little nervous that we're a month in without much progress. We've had the valuation and the app went to the underwriters last week so we've been told we'll get a decision early this week

We applied to Santander on the 17th July, Valuation booked in this week, questions from the underwriters on the 25th July and responded the same dame, now the wait is agonizing, 80% LTV, We have decent deposit so fingers crossed, 1 missed payment 24 months ago, hoping that wont scupper it all

Our application is still pending wit NW too. Application received on the 22nd of July, valuation completed on the 28th, hard credit search seen on my
credit file on the 1st of August but our MA there is a 10 working day wait for the underwriters at the minute. We haven’t received any text message from NW since the valuation was booked in. Hoping the fact a hard search was done on my credit file means things are getting closer to an final answer. How long did people wait from hard search to getting an offer?

It's been 8 days since my application was received and I've not even had the valuation text yet... NW must be really inundated with applications at the moment.

Crazy to think we had our valuation 3 weeks ago...2 weeks ago told waiting on final checks. *sigh* how long do final checks bloody take 😂

Our valuation was done by TSB a month ago, were told passsed to underwriters for final checks & approval and would be all done by the end of the following week at the lastest, that didn't happen.

We were told on Friday that everything is approved just a technical issue preventing the letter being issued which needs to be done manually due to the issue...so now we're in a queue for this, timescale unknown and a seller who is now waiting for us. 

Week 6 since full application submitted starts today....big sigh.
